What's Happening: Current Issues

Every town and every community is different, therefore it’s needs and issues are each unique.  We ask you to use this page to identify and address issues that are “hot” or are receiving much attention from your AgCom.  We want to know about them and share your experiences.  For example, if you have either dealt successfully or have questions about how to handle certain issues, we want to know.  Please contact us with your experiences and/or resolutions.  Please include your name, contact information and affiliated AgCom.  Your response will be posted online in a timely manner.

Examples of Issues:  stable regulations, composting, conflicts & conflict management, need for slaughterhouse, securing funds for farmland protection, education the community about agriculture, farmer’s markets, etc.
